Hey, I'm Varun Jhawar! Over the last 15 years, I've had the opportunity to work on some pretty cool brands with incredibly talented people. From launching Olay skincare in India during my time at P&G, creating recipe kits that helped people cook restaurant-style meals at home (Chef's Basket), to making life-saving medicines more affordable (GOODAID), and bringing audio stories to millions of listeners at Podcast FM - it's been a fulfilling journey.

I'm driven by innovation in consumer products—constantly asking, "Why isn't there a better solution for this?" That curiosity, first honed at P&G learning how world-class brands are built, led me to start Chef's Basket straight out of that experience. Building it from scratch, navigating the inevitable failures, celebrating small wins, and eventually handing it over to Weikfield Foods taught me what being an entrepreneur really means—it's back breaking hard, often traumatic, but incredibly rewarding when you create something people actually value.

I'm now building HYDROPEAK, a performance hydration company creating hydration solutions for how we actually live, train, and push ourselves in India. Whether you're an athlete, a professional grinding through long days, or someone who just wants to feel better, we deserve hydration that actually works. WATERFAST is our first product, solving for fasting as a democratic practice for health and wellness. Intermittent fasting has helped me immensely in my journey of recovery from physical and mental burnout, and WATERFAST brings that experience into a simple product that we believe will help millions improve their health outcomes in a safe and sustainable way.

So why do it again? I've chosen the entrepreneur's path again because if not us, then who? If not now, then when? As someone who's passionate about endurance sports, I've completed an IRONMAN 70.3, run a few half and full marathons, and focused on fitness after a decade of ignoring my health, I've learned the power of proper hydration firsthand. I've also experienced how most products just don't work for our Indian climate and lifestyle. That gap kept nagging at me.
